kinda scary...

"By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as an expert builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should be careful how he builds. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames." {1 Corinthians 3:10-15}

Not only was this an awesome evening because of the pink sky, but I was able to capture the special love between a Momma and her baby girl. When I sit and think about how influential we are as parents...it's kinda scary. All we can do is pray that God directs our every action and every word. I've always said that I believe children are a product of the parent and what the parent creates in them. In other words..."the proof is in the pudding." Lord help us right?!?! I could make a long list right now of things I need to work on or improve that is for sure!

This is the Momma and baby girl I was talking about...
Greenlee has always loved her babies, but since Baby Landon has been born it's even more so. It is the cutest thing to watch because she copies everything Mimi does. I'm not kidding! She must really study hard when they're around because she has it down To-A-T!

"Fathers do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord" {Ephesians 6:4}

"[An overseer] must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him with proper respect "{1 Timothy 3:4}

Please Please...take a minute to watch this. So touching!

i have decided...

Ok...I would say, "If only I had a dollar"-- but that doesn't really fit me. So instead...I'll say, "If only I had an extra minute in the day for every time I pushed the shutter button on my camera in the past several weeks." SHEWWWY! Just as that sentence was long..it's been CRAZY!!! I am so thankful that I'm getting to do what I love to do + at the same time help out my amazing Momma. It's been so much fun! I'll be honest...sometimes hard...sometimes exhausting, but fun. I am in love with the fact that 4 HIM Photography is for Him. It was created to glorify Him and He continues to grow it beyond what we could have ever imagined. I am grateful that I get to be part of it and am amazed at the people He has brought our way.

I have decided...my favorite kind of photo shoot is a spontaneous one...with my favorite little people in the whole world.
Cute outfits -- check.
Gorgeous faces -- check!
Good attitudes -- check check!! {this one definitely a +}

Here are a few candid/posed shots of my babes. AND...just a little FYI...these babes are not always this happy. My life is not perfect -- I'm not a perfect mother and Easton and Greenlee don't always act perfect. They're crazy, but I love their crazy! Their crazy is perfection to me.

{I just had to add their favorite song to this post...it fits}

momma, why does everybody love me?

Well...sad to see him go...we have moved on from Lightening McQueen. I never thought we would have another obsession that would surpass -- KAPOW! KACHOW!!! I was wrong! E is super hero crazy! He eats...breathes and sleeps super heroes {literally...he fights bad guys in his sleep}. Here are a few tons of pics from Super Hero Night at the Powerpark. There were too many cute pics to choose a few :)

Thanks to E...everyone was super-heroed-out!

Mommy's fav!

spiderman...iron man...captain america...bat girl & HULK

Baby L even made it to the park with us. I think he had a blast eating and sleeping.

Where does this chic think she's flying off to?

UH OH!!! It's time for battle!

Easton asked me a couple days ago...Momma, why does everybody love me? (number 1 --  I could have a list that goes on for days} {number 2 -- so thankful he feels loved) Before I even had a chance to say anything...he said, "Is it because I'm so tough and because I protect them from the bad guys? Because I love him so much...and because he's super hero crazy...my answer was "Yep, that's exactly why." What's crazy to me is that my precious babies will never understand the depth of my love for them.

But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. -- Romans 8:37-39

My new favorite song...makes me want to SHOUT!!!
