purple party...

Thanks to everyone who was able to come and celebrate our precious baby girl turning one. Even though G was not herself...due to four teefers coming in at the same time...she really enjoyed herself. She loved getting sung to and she did just what we expected when it came cake time...she dug in...no help needed. It's so funny because in the past couple days I feel like she has grown up so much. She just acts older and she is starting to try to say words now. She loves to say E and juice...I think just to make me smile.

Ok...I am not a professional cupcake maker but I think they were good enough for the kids. Everyone really enjoyed the dessert I made for Jacob's birthday...Not Yo' Mamma's Banana Pudding...I think everyone wished there were more.

G's cake

White chocolate covered Oreos with a lil' purple icing to make them pretty.

One of E's favorite things to do...make noise.

Time to dig in!!!

I think G was a little overwhelmed at present time...but she's a girl...it didn't take long for her to open up once I started pulling out all those clothes.

One party down...one to go. Note to self...do NOT wait until the night before to hand make all the decor. If it wasn't for Emmi I think I would still be working on them. Thanks Em...I hope you are caught up on your sleep :) I owe you one!

lets start with forever...

I wish everyone could see this man the way I do. Everyone knows he's funny...outspoken and the life of the party. Not everyone gets to see the side of Jake that I do. He is home to me. You know how it feels when you've been out of town for a week or so...visiting family or on vacation and you just can't wait to get back to your own bed? When you finally get to sink into those sheets...it's so peaceful...calming and unbelievably comfortable. That's how he makes me feel. I'm thankful...when I'm home...I can be me. He one hundred percent accepts ME for who I am and he's never tried to change me.

We have for sure had our ups and downs...been through things that not very many couples could overcome, but I can honestly say that I love this man more and more every day. I can imagine that there are girls out there that long for that "movie love"...you know like The Notebook. There are tons of good ones out there but this is one that just sticks out in my mind (...maybe because it is the best love story ever told). I'm thankful that when I look back at my first love I don't have to think of anyone else. I don't have to imagine what my life would be like with my fist love because I'm with him. He always has and always will have my whole heart. He's my Noah.

Jake, as we know...

it's not going to be easy
it's going to be really hard
and we're going to have to work at this every day,
but I want to do that
because I want you
I want all of you
forever...you and me...every day.

I Love You!!! Happy Valentines Day!

growing up goofy...

I think everyone knows who the goofy one of the family is. Jacob is so many things that I can't be and funny is definitely a big one! Easton can be goofy, but he's more serious like me. Hey now!!! I like to have fun...I'm just not a funny person and when I try to be...well...that's even worse.

Greenlee is hilarious! I feel like all Jake and I ever say is..."girl, you crack me up!" She doesn't care where she is and who she's around...she is her own person. Easton has always been so meek and shy...nervous around people he doesn't know. Greenlee is total opposite. You should see her dance.
I hope she stays this way because I LOVE IT!!!

Does anyone think we are ready to celebrate this little Valentines birthday? Momma is NOT!

I know what you're thinking and I promise...this is not all I do...take pictures.
I do A LOT of other things ;)
I am for sure glad that I took G out this day. Even though she acted like a crazy girl this next picture has got to be my favorite of her so far.

GIRL IS GOOFY!!!

Monster Jam...

E's patiently waiting in line with Daddy to get our tickets...

Finally...found our seats

Daddy makes sure his little buddy doesn't go without...he had two cars before it even started.

E wasn't too crazy about having to wear these but after the engines started...on they went.

The Mountaineer...

The Grave Digger

Sooooo glad I caught this face...too cute!

This was probably E's favorite part of the night.

We all had a lot of fun...hope you enjoyed the pics!

to my girl...

When I first found out I was having a girl...I was nervous. On February 14th 2011...the moment I heard your cry...the first glimpse I got of you...all of those fears disappeared. You are truly my peace of mind in this crazy world! My heart melts every time you walk up to me and lay your head on me or every time you reach your hands out and look up at me with those big beautiful eyes. Of course it's only natural for me to miss you being an infant...but I am loving today. You love to be chased and scared. You also love to take everything you eat and put it in your hair. You like to laugh with brother even though you have no clue what he's laughing at...it's so cute. You like to be by yourself and play, but you also love for Mommy to hold you with your passy and blanky. You are very independent and very determined, but very sensitive.

I knew God was in control...I knew he would work it out. Your birth was perfect...it came at the perfect time. The day you were born everyone that loves you the most came to see you. We were so excited to take you home because we knew it would be one the most special days in our lives...in your life. There are really no words to describe the moment...the moment you were in your Mamaw Debbie's arms. She was so excited to see you...all she kept saying was she's beautiful and what a blessing. Daddy is so in love with you and says every time he looks at you he sees her. I know she is looking down from heaven today...still saying, "she's beautiful...what a blessing."

I am so thankful that you came into my life. I know I'm not always going to be the perfect Momma and you're not always going to be the perfect daughter, but we can grow and learn together. I know we're going to be best friends. I will always be here for you. One of my prayers in that you realize you'll always be beautiful in my eyes.

I know what I'm thinking...I can't believe you're mine.

Brother is already trying to help Momma calm you down.

You are truly a miracle from the good Lord above.

Daddy is dying inside...he is finally holding his princess in his arms.

Momma was really sick, but the happiest Momma in the whole world.

Brother was so excited to meet you. He took good care of you and still does.

Every morning I open my eyes...I can't wait to see your beautiful face.

I have never liked the color pink, but oh does my baby girl look pretty in it!

Your not really one of those frilly little girls. Momma likes you in your blue jeans.

No accessories for this girl. As soon as you realize there's a hair bow in your hair...bye bye it goes.

(Somebody take this stinkin thing!)

My little Greenlee Ann...I never could have dreamed or imagined how you would make me feel inside. I will always be grateful to God that he has allowed me to be your Momma. I promise you...I will never forget what you are to me...the blessing you are in our lives. We love you baby girl!!! Happy 1st Birthday!!!
